Privacy! Is it a lot to ask?

In this city of dreams, with its light, passion and vigor, there seems nothing that cannot make us happy. Yet time and again, as much as we love Mumbai, we struggle to cope with how it works. Space, privacy are words unheard of over here.
People cannot keep a distance, cannot respect your privacy even if you are one of those kinds who hardly socialize. This constant need to know the details of all the people in your life might be frustrating someone beyond measure (example = us!). Really! What exactly is so interesting about what's going on in my love life? or what i'm studying? And now that you've poked and prodded me till I answer all your nosey questions, who gave you the right to judge? So i'm just doing ordinary B.A. while your boy is doing engineering? Well! Congo aunty and thanks for the unasked information!
If invasion of mental privacy wasn't enough, the physical part comes in. You can practically never be alone! Most parents don't approve of closed doors of rooms, sitting at a cafe alone means getting weird glances, private time on trains, buses is a joke! So when? When can we just sit, with a cup of coffee, with mental and physical privacy and just be able to breathe?

                                                              Questions, questions!

On a lighter note we clicked these pictures before catching up with an old friend over the movie  'Ishqzaade'. Diana liked it, I didn't! Rare clash of opinions! :P Have you seen it yet? Share it with us in the comments section.

Black / White or Both?

There was a time when we didn't have too many choices in everything! Where you didn't have to fret too much, you could choose one side and live happily ever after. But now a days there's a lot that one can choose from.
We are bombarded with a million options daily and just can't make a damn decision. It could be choices in careers, boyfriends (:P), clothes or something as simple as food! Everything is confusing. There is this constant fear that if you choose one you will lose out on plenty of others, a fear of missing out on something bigger and better.

We both have been facing this dilemma for quite sometime now but we've decided to go ahead and just choose one thing, try our best and see if it works. If it doesn't, we can always try something new ;). It's better to work on something than to drown in a million choices and never do anything worthwhile.

Have you'll been facing anything similar? Share it with us in the comment section.
