Dwelling in the Pink

Hello guys!

It has been long, hasn't it? Well, no excuses on our side except that we are in the dreaded 3rd year of college and a little too caught up in the drama of life. So recently we both met up after quite a while and were complaining about how we give no attention to our baby a.k.a our blog! So we've decided we'll be posting only one outfit per post rather than the two like we were doing before. So sometimes it'll be Rachana posing and the other times Diana! At least that way we have more posts! :

Cheers to posting more often from now :D

Hopefully! :P

Now about the outfit,
I have paired a soothing baby pink balloon top with light denims. Even though I usually steer clear from balloon tops - as they only end up making me look plump, this one was an exception. The neck piece, which I bought specifically keeping this top in mind, was an absolute bargain. I bought it from a lady on Hill road for only 80 bucks! The black bag is my go-to bag since it's a neutral it goes well with every outfit. Now, for the favourite part - the shoes! Although we totally forgot to click a clear picture of just the shoes, I got these from Elle Fashionwear and boy, am I in love or what!

Rachana:
Blouse - Vero Moda
Denim - Max
Bag - Colaba Causeway
Neckpiece - Hill road, Bandra
Shoes - Elle Fashionwear

A mid-day in Paris.

Fashion and Paris is an age-old cliche, yet it's difficult not to fall in the love with a French woman's neat taste for all things fashion.  We were excited to be invited by Elle Fashionwear to preview their Spring Summer '13 collection. The theme of the event being Mid-day in Paris just made it all the better.

The theme of the collection was 'Botanical' and comprised of breezy dresses, coloured denims and pretty jumpsuits. The French theme could be noticed through the strong colours and elegant silhouettes. The collection is a lovely mixture of green, red, purple and yellow.

Even though the collection did not resonate with our personal taste in fashion we could clearly see why so many chic city women would love it!

The event itself was amazing. We got to catch up with Amena and Ritcha and finally got to meet Dayle and Shubhi :D To top it off there was macroons and champange - what more could we ask for!
